CAP in the News: "Organizations say food insecurity on the rise in Kentucky"

Christian Appalachian Project is facing increased demand for food assistance due to high levels of food insecurity. The expiration of COVID-era programs, rising inflation, and changes in SNAP requirements have worsened the situation. Other organizations like are also seeing a significant rise in the number of people seeking help. Efforts are underway to implement new programs to address the issue.
