Introducing the New and Improved Mountain Spirit

Submitted by ckdcaudill on Wed, 09/04/2013 - 13:49

The new redesigned edition of The Mountain Spirit is here! The pages are filled with vibrant photographs that embody our mission, and a clean, user-friendly style for your reading enjoyment. What hasn't changed is that the heart of The Mountain Spirit remains the same, to impart the stories and triumphs of people — real people who have been personally affected by the Christian Appalachian Project. Each section focuses on one of CAP's three core values: Faith, service, and compassion.

I love the magazine, especially since my son, Nathaniel Tennant is featured in this issue!

Congratulations on your new magazine format! I have been giving (what I can) to Christian Appalachian Project for well over 20 years (probably more like 30) and have read a few of the articles in ‘The Mountain Spirit’ over the years. The new format and articles are so vastly improved- I read the whole issue, cover to cover! Keep up the good work. I wish I had more to give. Clare

The new format of the Mountain Spirit is indeed an improvement. I hope to receive it in print form as I like to leave it on the table at our church for others to enjoy. Often it is gone for a week only return for anothers reading pleasure.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to share the stories of CAP with you, and are thrilled you enjoy them. --Alyssa Miles Editor-in-Chief
