Recipient Partner
Operation Sharing increases the capacity of nonprofit organizations in the region to meet the needs of their local communities and sustains CAP’s ability to fulfill its mission in Eastern Kentucky. We partner with these agencies to host community distributions to get essentials items to people in need.
Gift-In-Kind Donors
CAP receives donated goods from caring corporate partners. These essential items, such as food, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies, are sorted and delivered to families and individuals in need in Appalachia through CAP’s warehouses and additional regional hubs.
Disaster Relief
When natural disaster strikes Appalachian communities, Operation Sharing responds to the immediate need by distributing food, water, cleaning supplies, and other essential and emergency items to impacted communities. In the wake of disasters, CAP remains a trusted partner in times of need, helping people put their lives back together.

“We Deliver Hope” carries the message that people are not forgotten and that better days are possible. Every act of service embodies CAP’s commitment to ensure that families facing hardship receive essential support.
This service is more than providing physical goods, but conveys CAP’s mission to restore dignity, stability, and optimism for individuals and families facing hardship.
“We Deliver Hope” encapsulates the work that provides emergency repair services and supplies to individuals impacted by natural disasters, delivers nutritious food to communities in need, and offers clothing and other essential items to restore dignity and meet basic needs.
I’m just really appreciative to be recognized as an organization for the work that we’ve done, it’s been an honor to serve.
