Alternative Spring Break

CAP hosts our WorkFest/YouthFest event each spring as an alternative to the traditional spring break. College and high school students from around the country volunteer to complete intensive home repair projects in Eastern Kentucky. They change lives and build memories that will last a lifetime.

Accessibility

Living with a disability comes with its own set of unique challenges and obstacles. Our home repair staff and volunteer teams provide crucial repairs and modifications to improve accessibility and help individuals with disabilities conquer some of these challenges.

New Construction

In rare situations, when a home is beyond repair or poses an immediate or extreme risk to the individual or family, CAP’s Home Repair staff will build a new home if adequate financing can be arranged.

I didn’t know how much longer I was going to last in my trailer. I was in pretty bad shape until [CAP] came and rescued me. I sure am grateful for the work that was done on this home.
