Preschool
CAP offers a preschool program for children ages 3-5. Children engage in play-based activities designed to help them develop skills in all learning domains and have opportunities to receive one-on-one help when learning delays are observed. Staff also coordinate field trips to extend their experience. Staff also organize field trips that enrich their learning experiences.
Mobile Classroom
The launch of a mobile classroom, in partnership with Save the Children, brings CAP’s services directly to homes in the area. The initiative ensures children from birth to 3 years old receive critical developmental care through CAP’s Infant and Toddler Home Visitation component.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
CAP partners with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book-gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income. CAP initiated this program in our service counties to promote literacy.
Preschool is a special time when kids are learning skills that will follow them the rest of their lives. Programs like the CDC give kids the confidence to be better learners, and better people, as they grow.
