Each year, Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) receives in-kind donations from approximately 125 corporations. Donated goods are stored at our Operation Sharing warehouses in Corbin, KY and Hagerhill, KY.
Donations include items from food and books to furniture and building supplies. Each year an estimated more than 1.5 million people in all 13 Appalachian states are impacted by donated materials (valued at more than $1.45 billion over the program's history). All this is made feasible by partnerships with more than 1,000 nonprofit organizations, community-based agencies, and churches throughout the region. It is exciting how much the program has grown since its inception. And with that steady growth, the ultimate goal of making materials available to those who need them has never wavered.
