Volunteers Needed for May & August 2016

Join us in our mission, serve for a year!

We are still seeking compassionate, mission-driven individuals to be a part of our May and August 2016 long-term volunteer class. Prospective volunteers should be motivated by and ready to make a commitment to our three pillars - Service, Community and Spirituality.  

Volunteers serve in Eastern Kentucky in programs addressing issues of poverty, education, substandard housing, hunger, and more.  We have several service placements urgently needing filled.  Read more about our available positions here. Room and board is provided for all volunteers in intentional community. Long-term volunteers also receive a modest stipend, health insurance, AmeriCorps Education Award (when available), and potential student loan deferment. Ideal candidates are compassionate, flexible, self-motivated, have great interpersonal and leadership skills, and are eligible to drive CAP vehicles (21 or older with a good driving record).
