Not enough time
By Kate Stefanowicz
All I can say after looking back on this past week is WOW! With Thanksgiving being this week I made the trip home to Connecticut. This was filled with a road race, basketball game, a play and getting lunch/dinner with as many people as possible. It was great to see my family and friends whom I haven't seen for almost 3 months. I was also greeted with typical Connecticut weather for this time of year (cold, windy and rainy), which I do not miss one bit. But of course my trip was too short and I wasn't able to see everyone that I wanted to. Not only was it short but it was packed with visiting family and friends and lots of catching up. I don't even think I had a time during my stay home to relax because I was in and out of the house all week long. Now I loved being able to visit with everyone, but at the same time my visit seemed rushed and I was just trying to see as many people as possible in my short time home. So even though my visit home was busy and a little bit rushed, I still enjoyed myself and was happy to be able to see my family.
After this crazy week of traveling I'm looking forward to some relaxation, which may or may not happen this week, since we have a birthday in our house this week as well as a Christmas party this weekend.
