Home for the Holidays

By Kate Stefanowicz

Finally home...This past weekend I arrived home(CT), where I'll be spending the holidays. It's nice to be back home again especially since my visit home for Thanksgiving was packed and very short. It's always nice to come home and just relax and be able to spend time with my family and friends. Although the past few days have been spent cooking  for Christmas day and doing some last minute shopping, I've been able to catch up with family and relax a little bit as well. As Christmas draws closer I keep trying to remind myself  of the true meaning of Christmas and remember that its not all about the gifts.

So even though I miss Kentucky and all my friends there, these next two weeks will be nice to have to catch up with old friends and spend time with family.

Merry Christmas
