Family

This past week we finally gotback into our normal schedule, even though we had a shortened week because of Easter. So on Tuesday we headed out to Jane's house (Pink Team's WorkFest job) and we finished her deck. She was very thrilled to have new stairs and handrails up. She even sat on the deck all day while we finished it all up and kept telling us how much she loves her deck. Then on Thursday we installed a new door and our day was cut short due to rain and thunderstorms.

On Friday I went up to Camp Caleb with my housemate Rachel to have dinner with everyone that was at YouthFest. It was really nice to see everyone and to experience family night at YouthFest. All the groups performed a little skit or jingle about their week and then a winner was picked. They also had a slide show of all the pictures that were taken throughout the week which was pretty cool to see the work they got done.

The rest of my weekend was spent hanging out with my housemates and getting ready for today because I get to see my family whom I haven't seen since Christmas. They are flying into Lexington and I'm meeting them there and we are spending the week traveling around Kentucky. So it will be really nice to spend time with them and show them where I've been living and what I've been doing.
