Elderly Services Spring Dinner

Me and one of my participants at the Elderly Services Spring dinner in McCreary County. The spring dinner is a tradition that happens every year with  our elderly and respite participants of Jackson, Rockcastle, and McCreary counties. It's a time to come together, eat good food, and have some fun! Many of our participants do not get out of the house often, so these dinners allow them to socialize and enjoy each other's company.

Ruth is a long-term volunteer and AmeriCorps Member serving in Rockcastle County. She lives in the Rockcastle volunteer house. To learn more about volunteering with CAP email volunteer@chrisapp.org.
