Christian Appalachian Project is very proud to announce that our Eagle Child and Family Development Center (CFDC) achieved the mark of excellence in the STARS for KIDS NOW program.

The STARS for KIDS NOW program is part of the KIDS NOW Initiative (Kentucky Invests in Developing Success NOW) and is administered by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. The STARS for KIDS NOW program uses a 1 to 4 star scale to identify the level of quality in early care and education programs. Programs are assessed based on: staff/child ratios, group size, curriculum, parent involvement, training/education of staff, regulatory compliance, and personnel practices.

The Eagle CFDC has received a 4 star certification, which is the highest certification available. “Out of the thousands of Kentucky childcare centers, Eagle CFDC is among the 2% who have achieved this level of STARS rating. The community as a whole is proud of this center,” said Brinda Campbell, manager of the Eagle Child and Family Development Center.

This certification represents Christian Appalachian Project’s commitment to helping children reach their highest developmental potential by providing cognitive, physical, spiritual, and emotional support. We work to provide this variety of services to ensure each individual child can succeed; we also provide parents with the resources they need to help their child grow and develop key values and skills.
