DUNNVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 6, 2026) – Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) and Dunnville Christian Church will celebrate the opening of FaithWorks, a CAP Operation Sharing distribution network hub serving Casey County and surrounding communities. Through a growing network of local partners, the hub will help connect churches, schools, community agencies, and nonprofits with essential resources.

The ribbon-cutting celebration begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, followed by an Open House from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 9861 S. U.S. 127 in Dunnville. 

“FaithWorks shows what is possible when trusted local partners combine their deep knowledge of the community with CAP’s resources and distribution network,” said Jennifer Stolo, President & CEO of Christian Appalachian Project. “This partnership will help move essential items closer to the organizations serving families every day, allowing support to reach communities more quickly, efficiently, and with greater impact.”

This regional distribution hub will help families meet basic needs and redirect limited income toward housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and other necessary expenses. FaithWorks will also strengthen community support systems and improve the region's ability to respond to natural disasters and other emergencies.

Expanding CAP's hub network is central to the organization's strategic goal of reaching underserved areas, strengthening distribution partnerships, and extending disaster support across Appalachia. FaithWorks represents CAP's farthest western reach into Kentucky's distressed Appalachian counties, helping strengthen community support networks in areas where access to resources and transportation challenges can create additional barriers for families in need.

“At its heart, FaithWorks is about neighbors helping neighbors,” said Derick Terry, senior pastor of Dunnville Christian Church. “We believe God calls us to care for one another, and this partnership allows us to put that calling into action.”

The event program will include remarks from Stolo and Casey County Judge-Executive Randy Dial, followed by a dedication led by Terry. The Open House will give guests an opportunity to tour FaithWorks and learn more about the regional network it will support.
