CAP Recognized for Outstanding Workplace Wellness

Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is proud to be recognized in the 2026 Worksite Wellness Awards for its strong commitment to employee well-being. Presented by the Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville, the awards are based on the nationally recognized CDC Worksite Health Scorecard, which evaluates evidence-based strategies that support healthier workplaces. CAP was honored with two Fleur de Lis awards, presented to organizations who excel in their wellness efforts.

“We are grateful to receive this recognition, which represents an intentional, organization-wide effort to make wellness more accessible, practical, and meaningful for employees,” said Rhonda Wall, director of CAP’s Risk Management program.

In the Medium Category, CAP was honored for redesigning its wellness program to increase engagement and improve outcomes. By connecting incentives to preventive care and health coaching, the organization encouraged employees to take meaningful steps toward better health. That effort led to more than 200 coaching sessions, strong participation in wellness events, and greater use of rewards that supported healthy choices. The result is a more connected, data-informed wellness culture that helps employees thrive.

CAP also received Platinum recognition for excellence in emotional wellness. Through expanded health coaching and supportive programming, the organization reduced barriers and made it easier for employees to take that important first step. These efforts are helping build confidence, resilience, and healthier habits across the workplace.

“This recognition celebrates more than a successful wellness program. This reflects CAP’s commitment to caring for the whole person and creating a culture where employees feel supported in every dimension of wellness,” said Jennifer Stolo, CAP President & CEO. “The thoughtful planning of these incentives and programs supports our mission and core values while also strengthening and encouraging the employes who carry that mission forward.”
