CAP in the News: Two Berea College students donate 500 toys to kids before the holidays

MT. VERNON, Ky. (WKYT) - Jessi Adams and Isabella Gormanson, students in Child and Family Studies at Berea College, distributed toys Saturday afternoon at the Christian Appalachian Project thrift store. The two collected 500 toys for the store in honor of their friend BriAnna Cowden who passed away in early November after being involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. They dropped off the donations at the store on Giving Tuesday.
