CAP Blog

A welcome break

Well, I've been staring at this blank computer screen for the past 20 minutes trying to come up with something to write in my blog, but I honestly don't have anything. These past two weeks have been pretty typical weeks at CAP. We had our house meeting with Harold, our volunteer life manager, this past week and we cleaned out our pantry. Really it hasn't been a busy week at all, which is nice because I feel like lately I've been crazy busy. So this past weekend was a nice weekend to relax and just enjoy the nice weather that we had. We even got a chance to try out some local restaurants, which turned out to be a success. And then of course Sunday is usually church in the morning followed by house chores and usually laundry. But I am getting ready for Ichthus which starts this Wednesday, June 16th in Wilmore, Kentucky. It's a 5 day long Christian festival with artists such as TobyMac, Newsboys, Switchfoot and Casting Crowns, just to name a few. So this week will definitely be filled with excitement!
