International Volunteers/Applicants

Please read the following criteria for applying to become a CAP volunteer. If there are any doubts or concerns, you are encouraged to contact the volunteer program offices.

Thank you for your very kind interest in our service work here in eastern Kentucky, USA.

To be eligible to be a prospective CAP volunteer, you will need residence in the USA for a period of one year or more, with the appropriate Visa. It is with regret that we are unable to sponsor volunteers who wish to obtain a Visa. Unfortunately, we also are unable to write an official letter of acceptance.

When you have met the above requirements, you will be presented with an admissions procedure that includes the following:

An application with a placement interest sheet
Three (3) written references
Criminal records search report

After the application is received and reviewed, a personal on-site interview in Kentucky will be necessary. As with all volunteers, you will be responsible for the expense of transportation to and from the interview.
