General Info

Christian Appalachian Project’s mission is to “help people help themselves” through education, economic opportunity, employment and a sense of Christian community.  We are a human family sharing the Good News through action with the people of Appalachia. No particular skill level is required - a willingness to come, serve, and be tired at the end of the day is what we are looking for in a volunteer!

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world…indeed it is the only thing that ever has.”   - Margaret Mead
