In-Home Respite

Christian Appalachian Project’s In-Home Respite services give parents and other primary care providers of individuals with disabilities, the opportunity to take a short break, by caring for their family members.

Our focus is to supply the caregiver with rest and professional consultation, and the participant with quality care, meaningful socialization, and Christian fellowship.

An experienced CAP staff member travels to the family home on a scheduled basis and spends approximately five hours caring for the individuals with disabilities, while the primary caregiver addresses necessary family or personal needs.
