Each year, in-kind donations are received from approximately 125 corporations from across the country and are accepted at the Corbin, KY, Hagerhill, KY and Onedia, TN warehouses. CAP’s Human Service programs use some of the goods, saving much-needed dollars that can be better utilized to provide help for program participants. Additionally, CAP has partners with more than 2,000 churches, schools and community service organizations to redistribute these resources to those in need in out-of-state areas.

The 2008 fiscal year was an outstanding one:

• 1,000 agencies were served through the Corbin, KY warehouse
• 800 agencies were served through the Hagerhill, KY warehouse
• 200 agencies were served through the Onedia, TN warehouse
• A record 2.6 million people were assisted
• 877 full and partial truckloads of supplies were received
• A record $112,000,000 of in-kind gifts were received
