Christian Appalachian Project becomes an integral part of the Ichthus Festival.
Our second year as a corporate partner of the Ichthus Festival has come and gone, and we are proud to have had a very successful year. Ichthus is an annual Christian rock festival held in Wilmore, Kentucky to promote youth ministry and deepen the faith of the newer generations while having a fun time. There was worship, teaching events, performances, great music, good food, and an amazing array of ways to help live out and embrace one's faith.

GED Graduation at the Courthouse
80% of the nation’s adults have a high school diploma, yet only 63% of adults in Appalachian Kentucky have one. Without a GED, workers receive 25% less pay than high school graduates.

WorkFest 2008 was a Success!
Over the course of a month, more than 400
college students from 43 different colleges repaired 21 homes throughout eastern Kentucky. They donated 19,624 hours of their time
to help deserving families and individuals in Appalachia, which equals
$189,567.84 worth of services. A huge thank you to the students who
participated - they made it happen!
