The landscape of Appalachia is changing. The Christian Appalachian Project needs your help in documenting that change.
In a new photo essay book, Impact! Changing Appalachia, CAP documents the progress and challenges facing the Appalachian region today. The bookwill feature photographs submitted by college students attending colleges and universities in any of the 13 Appalachian states, from Georgia to Pennsylvania.

Barbara and Harold have been married since 1995. They live in a trailer in rural eastern Kentucky. Having grown up there, the trailer is the only home Harold has ever known, and was in desperate need of repair.

Changing the Life of a Child
Savanna was a typical four year old, laughing, playing in the kitchen with pretend food, and drawing amazing pictures of her family. The alarming difference between her and the other children was her lack of communication - she did not say a single word in three and a half months.
