Charitable Gift Annuity

Would you consider making a gift to the Christian Appalachian Program, and receiving life income?

This is possible when you fund a CAP charitable gift annuity. A charitable gift annuity is an agreement between you and CAP. In exchange for cash or other assets (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.) of $2,500 or more, CAP guarantees to make fixed payments for the rest of your life. Following your life, the assets remaining are used to fund the work of CAP.

Advantages of a Charitable Gift Annuity with CAP:

  • Fixed payments for life
  • A charitable income tax deduction for the year the annuity is funded
  • A portion of payments is considered tax-free income
  • An opportunity to make a significant commitment to the Christian Appalachian Project for many years to come

The rate of payment to you is based on age, therefore we ask for verification of age should you decide to fund a charitable gift annuity. Please refer to the following chart to see the return rate for your age.
